Mari Gamarra is a contemporary painter whose work traverses continents, cultures, and the inner landscape of the human spirit. Born of mixed heritage and shaped by decades of living across Colombia, Italy, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, Greece, the UAE, and now New York City.

 

Gamarra paints what others cannot easily name — the resonance between memory, movement, and light. Her canvases are at once intimate and monumental: rooted in personal history yet open to universal feeling.
